During my recent trip to Galway, Ireland I got to visit the beautiful, green country for the first time and I quickly fell in love. I’m not surprised since I already have a low key obsession with Scotland, but I love how Ireland has the same pub, relaxed vibe to it while having the most incredible sights to take in. During my short trip I visited the Cliffs of Moher. I’ve seen pictures before, but when you’re standing on the edge of a cliff on a crazy, windy day it’s a very different experience. Weirdly (and stupidly) I wasn’t that nervous or frightened by the height; instead I was fixated on the stunning views surrounding me. Visiting the Cliffs easily goes down as one of my best days abroad, even though I slipped in mud and on my way down the little hill I grabbed cow fencing and was shocked (I wish I was kidding).
If you ever have the opportunity to travel to Ireland – go! If I haven’t convinced you by now, just look at the adorable Shetland pony above and that should do it.
Have a great week!
