I don’t even know where to start. I fell in love with the UK all over again during my recent trip to St. Andrews. As you may know from my previous post and video, I studied abroad at Oxford University a few years ago so being back in the UK visiting another beautiful campus reminded me of how much I loved my time at Oxford and I quickly found myself wishing I could go to school at St. Andrews. Since that’s incredibly unrealistic considering that I only have 3 semesters left I guess I’ll just have to settle with living vicariously through my beautiful cousin and friends that study there!
My trip to Scotland was easily one of my favorite trips not only because I’ve always loved the country… and I’m obsessed with Outlander (yes, I know… it doesn’t look like that infatuation is going away)… but I got to spend time with my cousin and my parents, brother and sister who flew over to meet us. We spent time in adorably quaint cafés, exploring the ruins of St. Andrews, walking The Old Course (the famous golf course pictured above), visiting the Kingsbarns Scotch distillery, and sipping ciders and eating fish and chips in the cutest tartan upholstered pub.
What charm did I end up bringing home with me from St. Andrews for my charm bracelet? A majestic yet dainty gold stag. Absolute perfection.
