My friends and I went to the nearby village of Fiesole, Tuscany for lunch this past weekend – it was yet another charming Tuscan town (surprise, surprise – I know : ). The village is situated right on the top of the hills surrounding Florence so it has a absolutely killer view of the city!
I popped into Florence’s Miss Sixty store and splurged a litttttle too much on their new collection. I’ve been buying more and more black lately, which is so different from what I’d previously gravitate towards. I went in just to look, but somehow I ended up walking out of the boutique with a bag full of black leather, pleats and knitwear… Oh la la! I’ve already worn my “James Pullover” a few times and I’m in love!
When I found out that I’d be spending my Fall semester in Italy I came up with a list of places that I would love to explore and on the top of my list was Venice. You can imagine my excitement when it worked out for me to explore the floating city! And yes — the canals, bridges and gondolas are just as charming as you’d imagine. Some of my favorite spots include…
St. Mark’s Basilica: You need to see these mosaics!
Dal Moro’s: Delicious pasta made to go in Chinese containers
Vecchia Murano: A famous Murano glass blowing factory
