Jeans: Levi’s via The Vintage Twins pop-up shop from this summer (I cut the bottom myself and used tweezers to pull the fibers so they looked just right), similar Levi’s here | T-shirt: Forever 21 | Fishnets: I literally buy everything on Amazon.. love this set of 4 fishnet variations | Heels: Aquazzura… here’s this season’s version (on sale!)
Here’s a look that I wore this past Saturday. I was super skeptical about the fishnet trend coming back, but I totally came around to it and now I loooove. I ordered mine on Amazon (linked above!) and they came in a pack of 4 different variations – each with a different size of netting. Depending on the look I’m going for, a tighter knit could be better (like if I’m going for a subtler look). It may seem hard to work these into your wardrobe, but don’t overthink it – it’s super easy! My rule of thumb is if your look involves sheer black tights, switch them out for fishnets. Try them with OTK boots and a skirt or dress to give the look an instant dose of edge. Or spice up your distressed jeans with fishnets and keep the rest of your look super simple, just like I did here.
Wishing each of you a fun and productive week before the long weekend!!
Sweater: White + Warren, another pink cashmere sweater here | Jeans: Mother | Boots: Saint Laurent, similar and more affordable style here and here and here | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Bag: Ferragamo, similar here and more affordable option here
Lately I’ve been traveling all over the place (which I love more than anything!!), but being home and relaxing last weekend felt SO good. Sometimes it’s nice to just have a low key weekend with no plans or commitments. It was such a refreshing break from a few busy weeks. I barely brought any clothes home so I ended up borrowing this sweater and these boots from my mom. When she got these (the sweater earlier this season and the boots a few months ago) I was obsessing over them and knew that I needed to try to borrow them one of these days. My mom has the most incredible style (and closet!)… thank god I always have someone to talk to about the newest trends, shoots, products and designers.
