I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! On Martin Luther King day, Tyler and I went into Philadelphia to visit the Reading Terminal Market. I’ve never been before, but I’ve only heard great things so I figured it would be a great way to start my #explorephilly journey.
The market was worth it! It’s no secret that I’m a foodie so walking into a market filled with fresh produce, meat, cheesesteaks, smoothies, ice cream, cookies, crepes, pastries, bread, and every other food option you could imagine was super overwhelming, but amazing! We walked around and picked up fresh produce, poultry, cheese, and pasta for dinner while we explored all the market had to offer. Being the cookie monster that I am I, of course, stopped by The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company for a warm chocolate chip cookie. When I went to break it in half it was like a moment out of a cookie commercial where the chocolate strung together to make a yummy, delicious mess.
Somehow after snacking on cookies and green juice we were still hungry so we sat down at Molly Malloy’s for cheesesteaks. They had this cheese sauce that was to die for! I actually asked them for extra so I could dip my cheesesteak in (no shame…).
If you have an hour or two to kill and you’re around Philadelphia definitely stop by the Reading Terminal Market. It was super easy to just park across the street and with a $10 purchase and merchant validation you only have to pay $4 for 2 hours.
Have a great week and stay warm if you’re in the scope of this crazy blizzard! I see some hot coco in my future…

I hope you all enjoyed your nice, long weekend!
Lately, I’ve been disappointed that I’ve lived in Philadelphia for over a year and I’ve barely explored the city. I know Philadelphia has so much to offer, such as: world-class restaurants, recycled glass exhibits, boutique and consignment shops, museums, monuments, and, of course, the famous Philly cheesesteaks from places like Pat’s, Gino’s, and Jim’s. With all of these destinations waiting to be explored I’m officially kicking-off my Philadelphia adventure!
Over the weekend my friend Anthony and I went to this beautiful mansion right on Villanova’s campus. This stunning, classic stone architecture is popular in this area and it’s hard not to love! We instantly loved the pops of color so decided to shoot a look here for the blog.
