Thank you for all of your love and support in 2016!! Now that I’m done with college and moving onto working in Manhattan, 2017 is bound to be a year full of excitement and undoubtably change. Below is a round up of some highlighted looks from 2016. Click the pictures to see the full look and outfit details. Cheers to a wonderful year and cheers to 2017!

I picked up this coat and these booties while I was in Florence studying abroad a month before this was taken. I’m still wearing all of my Italian souvenirs all the time – they’re such amazing quality! This shoot was done right in Madison Square Park, my favorite area in the city! It’s so nice to get away from the buzziness of Midtown, but still not be too far downtown. Plus Eatily being right on the park isn’t a deal breaker either…

A floral, spring look shot in Naples, FL at the Ritz Carleton resort while on a March getaway with the girls.

I started getting really into skirts and invested in a few last spring. Between this one, my black leather skirt and my jean skirt – I get use out of them all year round (mainly just for going out with tights in the winter though).

For Easter I headed down to Vero Beach with Tyler. Before the trip, I picked up a few tops from Anthropologie and I’m still obsessed with the embroidery on this one!

This picture (and the one below) is from my first collaboration with Tobi that I shot in downtown Philadelphia. I should actually check out what they have online right now. Sometime you have to sift through everything, but I’ve found some cool pieces and for really great prices!

Sometimes it just feels good to dress up. This feminine look was shot at the stunning Haverford College estate.

Ahh back to THE shoes of the spring. As soon as I saw these (and realized that wearing them was like walking on pillows) I knew that they’d be huge this spring. I also love the more affordable Marc Fisher ones that are still in stock!

I went to visit my Nana and Papa in the Poconos this spring and had the best time!! It felt so good getting away to relax, fish, play monopoly and do all of the other things I used to do when I was little.

This year I started to do more freelance writing, which has led to so many fun projects. This shot was actually for an article that I wrote about transitioning from spring to summer fashions for Diamonds Unleashed. I posted the full look here on Velvet Violets, and Drago even got in a few shots : ).

There’s nothing I love more than escaping to Bridgehampton!

This sweater is one of the amazing consignment finds I scored at Ina! Here’s a list of some of my other go-to consignment shops.

Finding some new spots to shoot in Manhattan. Gay Street >>>

I absolutely love the Wölffer Estate Vineyard!! Tyler and I visited a few times this summer and I just can’t get enough! Click the picture to read about some of my favorite wines.

A high of my year was spending time in Bermuda with my immediate family and cousins! Spending time at Tucker’s Point every summer has become a tradition and easily my favorite part of the summer.

Here’s a shot from a trip to Bermuda that Tyler and I went on this summer with my family!

Here’s one of my favorite shots from this summer. After work, I loved meeting friends at a new restaurant in a neighborhood we didn’t know well so we could walk around and explore a bit before our reservation.

This shoot was done inside of Pizza Beach on the LES. It’s such a cool spot and I was dying to shoot in it… and then stay for pizza ; ).

I found this amazing pair of vintage Levi’s at a pop-up shop this summer and I literally wore them all the time. I’d dread putting them in the laundry pile because I hated not having them as an option…

At Ralph Lauren I worked on the Olympics so when they finally aired when I was in Bermuda for the weekend I was always watching. Obviously I brought some patriotic clothes to go along with the opening ceremonies!

This year I started to explore Battery Park City and what supppper downtown Manhattan has to offer and I am in love! Spots you need to hit: Brookfield Place (try a cooking class at ICE), Le District and Eatily’s new downtown location.

This past summer I lived right on Gramercy Park with my best friend while I interned in Ralph Lauren’s Corporate Internship Program. This was a summer filled with highs and lows – from going out with my closest friends at some of the cities most incredible rooftops to having to give away my little bunny, Little Dipper (still not over it) – it was a summer filled with memories that I’ll never forget!

This was one of my highs of the year! Attending the NYFW La Petite Robe Chiara Boni show with Fekkai (the salon in The Mark Hotel) was a dream! My first time sitting front row was a moment that I’ll never forget. Thank you to Anthony from La Petit Robe, Gwen from Fekkai, and Kiera Wood Photography for making it all happen!

One of the many cool new spots I found this year in NYC with one of the new friends I made from joining the NYC Style Collective!

After all of these years of checking out Philadelphia, I finally explored enough spots and tried enough restaurants to determine which are my favorites. The Dandelion restaurant (right around the corner from where this was taken) is easily one of my favorites! When my parents and sister were visiting this fall, I took them to try my favorite place and they loved it too. Coming soon to a computer near you in 2017: my Philadelphia city guide…

My last project of the year! This was such a fun shoot with Dana Greenblatt photography wearing a Club Monaco holiday look. Between my birthday, my final Villanova exams before my December graduation and all of the packing I had to do, there was A LOT going on, but I knew that this project would be so worth it – and it definitely was!

Thanks for coming along for the ride!
