Happy hump day!! On Sunday I went into the city to be with my boyfriend Tyler and we walked around exploring Battery Park. We’ve done an ICE cooking class together at Brookfield place and we’ve certainly eaten at local restaurants enough, but we never really have the time to just walk around. It was so nice being able to explore the area and stroll around on a lazy Sunday!
As you can see, my charm bracelet has come a LONG way since I started it last September. My mom gave me my late grandmother’s bracelet before I left for Florence so I could build the bracelet around my travels. After traveling around Europe, I came home with charms from Florence, Cinque Terre, Positano, Amsterdam, Scotland, Munich and Galway. Over the summer, my Oktoberfest beer stein charm from Munich fell off… I was so bummed. I immediately started looking into how I could replace it. neurontin 100 mg capsule in Ridgefield, CT came to the rescue and ordered me not only a new beer stein charm, but a giraffe charm to represent the Zambia’s Tree of Life children’s community that is so close to my heart. How cute do the two additions look in the picture above?!
Let me know what you guys think of my new shopping feature seen in this post! Now it’s easier than ever to shop my looks : )
Hi guys!! Here’s a look that I wore in the city before moving out. Right now I love wearing comfortable, loose day dresses with an easy block heel. Since I’m short I love the block heel for obvious reasons… Anything that I can run around town in and that also gives me a bit more height is sure to be a closet staple of mine.
Thank you all for being so supportive and for following along on my blogging journey! When I started Velvet Violets back when I was a freshman I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into. I spontaneously decided during one too many snow days to start a blog and by the end of the day I had a domain and platform up and running. It has seriously come a LONG way and I have each and every one of you to thank. Through different collaborations and through you all reaching out I’ve been able to meet so many amazing people. Running the blog can be exhausting sometimes and I certainly go through highs and lows with managing the blog amidst being a student and working, but being able to meet and work with such fun, talented people makes it all so worth it.
Do you guys have any ideas for posts you’d like to see? I love being able to take a shot at answering your questions!! Email me at email@example.com or comment below with any questions or suggestions!
Hi guys!! There have been so many times when I go consignment or vintage shopping and find absolutely nothing that catches my eye. I was having one of those bust moments the other day in the city until I popped into INA’s West Village shop while killing time before lunch with a friend. And voilà! I found this adorably stunning Dolce & Gabbana vintage dress just waiting for me. I hesitated because I knew I wouldn’t be able to get a ton of use out of it before fall fashions start up, but then I reminded myself that this is a one in a million (okay, realistically a few hundred) find and next spring I’ll thank myself!
Enjoy your spectacularly long weekend and thanks for checking in!
