After a walk in Florence turned into yet another “oh let me just pop into this store for a second” kind of day I realized that lately I’ve been gravitating to essentially variations of the same thing: cozy, oversized sweaters. Cashmere, wool and cotton a like — I don’t seem to discriminate. But one can only justify buying so many cream sweaters. Good thing I have this cool website where I can share my oversized sweater obsession with all of you because let’s be honest – one of us should be wrapped in these cozy beauties! ; )
It’s time to wrap… ; ) … your head around a new investment piece: the cashmere shawl. It’s unlimitedly versatile and the ultimate travel companion. Wear it as a scarf (so many different ways to do this!), a shawl, a hood, or even a blanket. If you’ve felt the cold northeast wind bite your skin you know how alluring it is to have an excuse to walk around in a soft, fluffy blanket. It seems like the holidays are forever away, but it’s never too early to start thinking about it and a cashmere travel wrap would be a a thoughtful and welcomed gift for you’re loved ones- especially those that are frequent travelers.
Recently, it’s been very brisk in Connecticut! I don’t mind the change from the 90 degree humidity, but I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet. The heat will return, but for now I find myself loving my light-weight cashmere. White + Warren is my go-to for cashmere sweaters right now. They aren’t cheap, but because of the fabrics and quality -it’s worth it!
